The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will be sending an upgrade package to
all Maine libraries that received Gates Computers. (This includes libraries
who paid for their Gates computers.) This package contains both software and
hardware upgrades along with instructions.

The software upgrade will move the computers from NT 4 to Windows 2000.
The hardware upgrade will include Centurion Guard box that will provide
additional security for your computers.

Many libraries will need help with both the software and hardware
installation.
The MSLN Circuit Riders can be contacted to assist you in this upgrade
process.
