December 7, 2001 Start Time: 7:39 p.m. STARTING 4 minutes late owing, I believe, to a defective goal light at the north end. The goal judge was given a white towel to wave. (in surrender?????) End Time: 10:02 p.m. St. Cloud State University vs. Attendance: 6,419 Colorado College I believe that is tickets sold rather than bodies in seats. ST. Maybe thats because they were intimidated by the lack of a red light, or masy that's because they were shooting at the far end and these old eyes aren't what they used to be. Head Referee: Jon Campion Assistant Referees: Gary Pedigo, Tim Swiader interesting that the assistant referees are both from denver and one of the assistant referees at denver was from colorado springs. I guess there is extra travel money this year. I'm guessing he stopped just short of questioning the ancestry of the referee. There was a face off sometime during this period where first the husky cullen got tossed and then one of the CC cullens got tossed. I know it is a penalty if the official has to toss two people from the same team, but apparently there is no infraction when two members of the same family get tossed THIRD PERIOD G2-SCSU, MATT HENDRICKS 13 (Mark Hartigan 15, Nate DiCasmirro 16).........7:00 hendricks was left unchecked at the (my) right side, and Sanger didn't have a chance. I'm guessing he stopped just short of questioning the ancestry of the referee. The same can be said of several other cc players. The game announcer, however, apparently did question the referees ancestry, and was tossed from the announcers box. We are speculating whether that ejection was merely a game misconduct or a game disqualification requiring him to not announce tomorrow's game. Time will tell.
