It warms the cockles of my heart to know how deeply concerned you are for maintaining a close adherence to topicality Wei. And what you may or may not have read is of no concern to me--if you do not like my criticisms of you, as I said at the close of my post which you so carefully did not read, then find a new topic. Better still (since I know you'll never do that, just as I know you'll read this)then, that you not only do not read them but further, do not reply to them. It shall add greatly to your already substantial aura.

I judged that what someone may or may not have observed at a cocktail party,
no matter where it was, could be deemed irrelevant, and that it might be
akin to gossip, or a highly subjective interpretation of events which have
no bearing on the discussion of Ezra Pound.
