In response to Burt Hatlen's suggestion that Pound's poetry and prejudices
ought to be discussed together, see Anthony Julius' book on T. S. Eliot,
which does just that. But don't expect a satsifactory conclusion.
        As for suggestions to Alexander Schmitz on Pound's religion, I'd
like to add to the list supplied already my modest addition in two
chapters on Pound in my book, Ritual and Experiment in Modern Poetry
