Absolutely, and that's what's so disorienting about these claims that Pound has somehow been marginalized because of his political views. Pound is still taught in the academy and he continues to exert an enormous influence on contemporary poetry. Yes, he's underappreciated and yes, there have been some bad books about his politics.
