Greenie sez: >> thanks to the whole ticket fiasco (including the fans-cum-scalpers on >> Hockey-L who are hawking their seats for thousands per set), Carol White replies > I think that you should be able to back this up with some facts, I > myself haven't seen any ads on Hockey-L wanting exhorbitant > money from fellow list members. Perhaps you saw them on USCHO! I think Greenie is thinking of the post where someone mentioned they'd seed tickets advertised on eBay at an exorbitant asking price. In four or five years on HOCKEY-L, I can't remember ever seeing anyone ask more than face value for Phrozen Phour tix. (I myself sold my Milwaukee tix at cost to a HOCKEY-Ler after my plans to drive halfway cross-country fell through.) It occurred to me at the time that it might be a good idea to have a regular HOCKEY-L block at the Phrozen Phour, which could be bought over the course of the year by folks looking to make the trip. But with 4-ticket limits and ticket lotteries, it would probably not work.
