Does any one know if Ezra Pound was aware of 'Gestalt Theory' ('the whole is greater than the sum of the parts') that began in 1890? Has Pound made any references to this form of psychology / perception in any of his essays / letters?

I am very interested in this in relation to Ezra Pound and spatial form. Any help would be fantastic.
