Dear Mr Volpe, Have you checked the 'Ezra Pound' entry in _A William Faulkner Encyclopedia_ (Eds. Robert W. Hamblin and Charles A. Peek, Greenwood Press)? If not, it might be of interest to you. Though it does not mention the unpublished novel(?) Faulkner wrote based upon his missed opportunity of meeting Pound, it does refer to Pound's influence on Faulkner's poetry. The author of the entry (Rebecca Rowley) mentions two scholars who might know more about the matter: Lothar Honnighausen and Joseph Blotner. With every best wish, Michael. -- Michael Eiichi Hishikawa Email: <[log in to unmask]> | Faculty of Letters, Kobe U My 20c poets web page: | http://www.lit.kobe-u.ac.jp/~hishika/20c_poet.htm --- Quid prodest hoc ad aeternitatem --- ---------------------
