Greetings!
* VACATION: Remember that next week is a vacation week for many.
However, due to this outrageous winter, there are many make-up classes
scheduled. Check in with the front office if you are not certain about
your schedule for next week.

* BOSTON BUS TRIP: On Friday, April 11, UMA and your local SA is
sponsoring a bus trip to Boston.. Visit the Science Museum, New England
Aquarium, Quincy Market.and more Boston sites. The cost is just $10 per
student and $40 per guest. The bus leaves from UMA at 7:00AM and will
return there. Carpooling from the coast with other URock friends to the
bus is possible. Check with Beverly for sign up. Space is limited.

* GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS: UMA graduation announcements are on sale
at the UMA Bookstore in Augusta. The cost is $1.31 each with tax.
URock students should contact the UMA Bookstore at 621-3467 or online at
http://www.umabookstore.com/ to purchase them.

* EARLY, EARLY REGISTRATION FOR FALL: Please remember that you may do
an early registration starting now for UMA classes. It will be
processed next week. This will give you a jump on registration which
officially opens for UMA degree students on 3/31 and non-degree on 4/07.
If you are planning to take a course from another campus (online or
ITV), that will involve a multi-campus form and those will not be
processed until April. The multi-campus forms are available for pick-up
at the office. The full fall listing is available on our website at
www.learn.uma.edu.

* MAINE STREET TRAINING: Staff will demonstrate and do some quick
student training in Maine Street (the new student information system
effective for fall) on Tuesday, April 1st at 1:00PM and Wednesday, April
2nd at 4:00PM. Maine Street is going to allow students to be much more
self-sufficient about the registration process. Please stop into the
computer lab and have a look so you can take advantage of the new
system.

*SUMMER: Summer registration continues with no payment due. Don't
wait!
