*  This Wednesday, March 5th, from 5:00-7:00PM, URock and the Rockland
Career Center are co-sponsoring a Career Fair downstairs on the 2nd
floor at the Career Center.  Local employers who are hiring will be
available to talk face to face, accept resumes and discuss specific job
openings.  Please bring your resume!  Even if you do not anticipate
meeting your dream job at this "fair", this is a good, practical, real
world job hunting experience. Please remember that job seeking often
means being open to all possibilities.  

* Today is the last day to sign up for UMA's Student Leadership
Conference, "Lead to Serve, Serve to Lead"on Saturday, March 8th
beginning at 9:00AM. Rub shoulders with The University Chancellor and
other statewide leaders.  You must register today by email to

* And finally, you may have noticed that we've been short staffed in
the front office over the past week.  Unfortunately, we've all been hit
by a strong virus.  In addition, poor Althea got kicked by her horse and
broke two ribs!  Please be patient with us as we try to manage the work
load with fewer bodies.
