Students who use BlackBoard:

Beginning on 11/16/12 Blackboard (Bb) will purge *OLD* classes from student
Bb files. If you have course material on Bb from courses you took in past
semesters, please be sure to copy and move those materials to an off-line
file.

Why is this important? Several degree programs require or expect students
to develop ePortfolios documenting their progress through their academic
careers at the University of Maine System. Often that documentation is from
a course using the Bb platform. Please, for this reason keep off-line
copies of all your work.

For instructions on how to keep your old courses, click on the *Keep your
old course <http://support.courses.maine.edu/blackboard-support>* link in
the left side bar of the UMS Bb Support page or paste the URL below into
your browser:

*Remember the purge of old courses will begin on 11/16/12.*
