*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and in recognition the
Student Association is sponsoring two activities: *

*1)      A DONATION DRIVE for clients of The Next Step Domestic Violence
Project.  There will be a box in the front lobby for donations.  Items
needed are: Baby shampoo, shampoo, diapers, feminine hygiene products,
soap, deodorant, Play-Doh, stress-relieving toys, books – new or barely
used, stuffed animals – new or barely used.  *

*2)      Kelly Brown from the Next Step Domestic Violence Project will be
at Ellsworth on Thursday, October 20th, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM for a
LUNCH AND LEARN presentation about Domestic Violence. THE STUDENT
ASSOCIATION WILL BE PROVIDING LUNCH.   Please RSVP so we have enough food.
