Hello, Everyone! With the Holidays upon us and finals fast approaching, I
want to remind you about upcoming events in December.

*Friday, December 10 (In 4 days)* Holiday Party at the Maine Grind 5:30 –
8:00 pm, for all Hancock County Center and Site students and their
families. As always, there will be door prizes, including tickets to Bob
Marley performance at the Grand. You must be present to win. Bring your
favorite board game! And… does the word, KARAOKE, sound like fun, it
certainly does!!!!

*Free tickets *to the December 12th performance of the Nutcracker at the
Grand. Stop by Ann Delaney’s office!

*Community Giving Opportunities:*

An *Angel Tree for Teens* is located in the pass through at the Center;
the angel-shaped gift tags carry suggestions for gifts for teenagers served
by the Emmaus Center in Ellsworth. If you would like to donate, please pick
a tag, purchase the gift and return both to Ann Delaney, Student Services
Coordinator. The gifts will be delivered to the Emmaus Center in Ellsworth
in time for the holiday season.

A donations box called, *Winter Wear*, is located in the center lobby. If
you can, please bring in used or new coats, mittens, hats, and sweaters that
you or your children have outgrown or no longer wear but are still in very
good condition. It is a sobering fact that many children and adults in
Hancock and Washington counties suffer in the cold months for lack of warm
clothing. You’ll get a warm feeling for doing so!

Thank you all and have a wonderful holiday season!
