Earlier today some suspected faulty equipment was replaced on the optical
network.  Careful evaluation since the replacement confirms that the
problem is now resolved.  The workaround for these three campuses is still
in place and will remain so until later this evening to avoid any possible
disruptions caused by removing it.  An additional notification will be sent
when the workaround is removed.
