There was a fiber break on the path between Orono and Ellsworth this
afternoon at approximately 3:30p.  All services on that path failed over to
backup paths, and there is no current outage as a result of this break.
Work is underway to repair this break, though we do not have an ETA at this
time.  No outage is expected as a result of this repair effort, nor when
the span is restored.

If further information becomes available we will provide it.
