*What is happening?*
At 6AM on Sunday May 14th.  We will point the alias ldap-2.its.maine.edu to
point to a system running a more recent version of OpenLDAP.

Any service running on recent software should be unaffected.   Older
systems are unlikely to be using this LDAP alias.   We do not allow access
to our LDAP servers from outside our network, so external services are not
affected.

*How long will it take?*
The change should be visible on our name severs within a few minutes.

*Why is this work necessary?*
For security and support reasons we need to keep our systems running on
recent well supported operating systems and software.

What happens if the work is not successful?

We will change the alias back to point to the old system.
