*What is happening?*
Starting at 5PM today (Wednesday) we will restart the LDAP process on two
of our LDAP servers (NameO and LDAP-B),  We will do these one at a time and
verify that things are working as expected before doing the other one.   We
anticipate the LDAP service being down less than one minute.

Most services should be unaffected since we have redundant LDAP servers,
however There may be brief interruptions in the ability to log in to some
services.   There may be a delay in password changes being made effective.

*How long will it take?*
We expect this work to take less than a minute per server.   There will be
a delay between the two as we verify that all is well.

*Why is this work necessary?*
We were recently informed of potential problems with some applications on
some platforms connecting with LDAP that are likely to occur Saturday
morning when an old root certificate will expire.  Avoiding this issue
involves a configuration change that requires the service be restarted.

What happens if the work is not successful?

We will back out to the previous configuration on these machines.
