There was a disruption in connectivity to Google's network this morning
between approximately 9:09a and 9:12a.  This disruption impacted all Google
services, including email, chat, docs, and DNS.  Anyone who may be using
Google DNS likely experienced additional outages due to DNS failures.  The
cause of the disruption at this point appears to be an issue within
Google's network.

All affected services have been restored since approximately 9:15a, though
some users may have continued to see issues for a short time after that due
to caching and retry delays.  Should further information on this issue
become available we will follow up.  If you are continuing to encounter
issues you feel are related to this outage that are not cleared by a
