At roughly 8:10 this morning, firewall services on the UM campus
experienced an outage this morning due to a hardware failure of the
secondary and split-brain condition where the secondary attempted to become
primary in its failed state.

This condition caused a service outage until roughly 9:10 AM.  The failed
unit has been removed from service and will be replaced this evening.

This outage impacted:

Campus Dining Services (Payment Network)
Counseling Center
ASCC
AMC
FBRI and TRC
WMEB
