Before we joined Minerva, Windham had a temporary period when we charged a fee to help with postage costs.

Before the van delivery, Wiscasset charged $1 per item to help defray costs. Average was $3.60 at the time.

Subject: [MELIBS-L] charging for ILL postage?

Hi, All:

We have had an uptick in unusual requests as of late, and keep receiving ILLs from out of state. This means we are running into some postage issues.
Has anyone ever asked the borrowing public for money to defray cost?

Thanks so much,
