Walter T. A. Hansen Memorial Library located at 10 Hansen St., Mars
Hill, ME, will be hosting an author talk and book signing event on
Friday, April 12, 2013 @ 6:30 p.m. featuring local author Susan
Dahlgren Daigneault and her book, "In the Shadow of a Mountain: a
Soldier's Struggle With PTSD".
Her book tells the life story of her father, one of Maine's
Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, Edward C. Dahlgren, detailing
his struggles with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, a condition
affecting many of our military veterans returning from war zones
today. With passion and unflinching honesty, Susan honors her father,
the war hero, her father, the anguished soldier, her father, the man.
"This book is a must read for all Americans who appreciate freedom and
love our great country." Col. Wesley L. Fox, Medal of Honor recipient.
