Very exciting! My Dad volunteers at that library and has so many good
things to say about it. :) Congratulations to Christine!

Subject: [MELIBS-L] Public Library Director elected to Maine House of

Christine B. Powers, director of the Naples Public Library, has been
elected to the 126th session of the Maine State Legislature. Regardless of
political party or any other considerations it is a joy to announce that a
librarian is serving in the House. Congratulations on your success,
Are other librarians thinking about doing this for the 127th in two years?

If you check the Naples Public Library web site, you will find information
prominently displayed about the Maine Public Library Fund tax check off.
Thanks again, Christine!
