3D Printing Part 1 ($1,000)

Flashforge 3D printer, roll of filament, 3D printing tool kit
* This course is delivered online, through a flexible model. There are no specific scheduled meetings, but the instructor is available via Zoom for individualized support.
In this course you will unbox and set up your new 3D printer. You’ll learn how to operate, maintain, and repair the printer, and you will become familiar with all of the built-in features of the printer. In addition, you’ll download and install the Flashprint software and use it to prepare models for printing. Finally, you will download, prepare, and print models from online model repositories.
This course is equivalent to 5 CEUs.
Grant funding available for eligible frontline workers through the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce. Organizations must join the Maine Workforce Development Compact to be eligible for funds. Joining is free for Maine-based employers.
Payment plan available: $600 deposit plus 8 payments of $50.00, paid weekly.
