This past spring Maine Summer Camps with the assistance of a generous grant, printed the sixth edition of the “Art of Outdoor Living”. The first edition was copyrighted in 1946. This edition is the first revision in fifty years! The grant also made it possible for us to provide free copies to Maine high school outing clubs, Maine summer camps and to Maine public libraries. The 280 page spiralbound book is filled with information on outdoor living and is a great resource for any outdoor enthusiast or youth group. For those libraries attending the annual conference at Sunday River, you will receive your copy in your welcome bag. For any Maine libraries, not able to attend this year’s conference, you can mail your shipping information along with a check for $3.12 (for postage) to MSC, P.O. Box 1861, Portland, ME 04014. Additional copies are available for sale for $34.
