Question about HVAC duct cleaning.
I found out this year that the duct work had not been cleaned in recent years. There is no evidence that it ever had been cleaned. I had a verbal estimate from Total Comfort Services/ Haley’s Metal Shop in Biddeford for $1249.00. He was standing in our basement at the time. The email proposal was nearly double. “We propose to furnish the material and labor, as specified herein, for the sum of: $ 2,995.00”
They must have heard about the ARPA Grants. This looks like gouging to me.
My question: Can anybody recommend a reputable company in southern Maine that does duct cleaning? You can reply offline to [log in to unmask]
