Happy holidays, everyone!

If you survived Black Friday, went strolling through your town center for Small Business Saturday, purchased increased bandwidth for Cyber Monday, and are figuring out who are the recipients of your Giving Tuesday, then I have one more small event to throw into this cavalcade of buying - (Formerly) High Demand Sunday!!!!

That's right, for the bargain basement price of a single email, you can receive a formerly high demand item culled from Minerva's own MINHD Library! All books are in various levels of condition, but come wrapped in a pristine dust cover. These books have served their High Demand purpose and are now looking for a good home.

Multiple copies of the following items are up for grabs:

  * Listen To Me: Tess Gerritsen
  * Cloud Cuckoo Land: Anthony Doerr
  * The Lincoln Highway: Amor Towles
  * Something to Hide: Elizabeth George
  *   Unthinkable: Jamie Raskin
  * State of Terror: Hilary Clinton
  * The Dark Hours: Michael Connelly
  * The Madness of Crowds: Louise Penny
  * Go Tell the Bees that I am Gone: Diana Gabaldon
  * Better Off Dead: Lee Child
  * Wish You Were Here: Jodi Picoult (signed by author)
  * The Hotel Nantucket: Elin Hilderbrand
  * The Hotel Nantucket: Elin Hilderbrand (Large Print)
  * Apples Never Fall: Liane Moriarty
  * The Lincoln Highway: Amor Towles (Large Print)

Requested items will be shipped out Tuesday morning, based on the order that the request is received. And if you are in the giving spirit in the holiday season and wish to shell out a few dollars to help the High Demand cause, checks of any amount can be sent to Maine InfoNet with Minerva HD in the note field and it will be credited to our account.

Thanks to Maine InfoNet, the Minerva Executive Board, the Minerva Innovation Committee, and everyone else who played a role in this evolving project. It's off a great start with books in the HD collection circulating almost 2,000 times since the start of the project, and we only have brighter days ahead.

Happy holidays all, and happy HD hunting.

Be well,

Josh
