I'm pleased to introduce the two ladies who are taking over running the
Albert Church Brown Memorial Library in China Village as I retire.
Head librarian will be Carla Olson Gade, resident of China. If the name
sounds familiar, check your catalog; you might have some of her novels.
Assisting Carla will be Miranda Perkins, resident of neighboring Albion.
Miranda brings experience as a volunteer at the Albion Public Library.
The three of us have been working harmoniously on transitioning. Stay
tuned for further announcements that Carla and Mirands might want to share
as we reopen at least partly, increase hours to meet state minimum
requirements, resume outdoor programs and with new faces at the desk make
other additions and improvements.
Many thanks to all of you who have offered advice and encouragement over
the years. Best wishes for many happy reading hours --
Mary Grow, Librarian (Ret'd)
