With thanks to Janet, I followed up with Tom Roth and he came last week. It's a small town, so a small crowd. Everyone enjoyed the talk and many bought books, as did I for our library.

Hi All,
We had author Tom Roth here in Rangeley last night to talk about his book, "A Sporting Year in Maine". Tom has been a regional columnist for The Maine Sportsman for 27 years. He is personable and interesting. It was his first book talk, but you wouldn't know it. Our patrons enjoyed listening to him (enough that several of them bought his book afterwards). I definitely recommend him. He is based in the Sebago Lake region and does not mind travelling a ways (but probably won't be doing any talks as far away as Aroostook County).
