Hi All,
I just attended a conference call with ALA's Washington Office Staff and ALA President Julie Todaro. More signatures on the "Dear Appropriator" letters are needed. Here's a link to more information with ways you can help: http://www.ala.org/advocacy/advleg/federallegislation/fight-for-libraries . Specifically, folks in the northern part of the state, contact Bruce Poliquin. He has yet to sign the letters in support of LSTA and IAL. Chellie Pingree has signed already, I've sent along a thank you email to her.
Thanks all,
Jen
