In case this book hasn't crossed your radar, Maine author Josh Pahigian's
first mystery novel, *Strangers on the Beach*, set in Old Orchard Beach, is
getting lots of positive attention from readers. You may be familiar
with Josh's
books on baseball <http://www.amazon.com/Josh-Pahigian/e/B001HPAJE4>. There
are only five copies of *Strangers on the Beach* in Minerva, all checked
out, with three bib level holds. Here's a link to the Amazon
listing<http://www.amazon.com/Strangers-Beach-Josh-Pahigian/dp/1934031836/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358519808&sr=8-1&keywords=strangers+on+the+beach>
.

FYI: Josh will be doing a reading and book talk here on February 9th. I
know he's open to speaking at other libraries. If you'd like contact
information for him, please let me know.

Rachel
