Posting to help Guilford Memorial Library. If there are questions I may be
able to get the answers!

The Town of Guilford is accepting applications to fill the position of
Library Director. This position will consist of 26 hours per week; vacation
time, holiday pay, and sick time will accrue. This director will be
responsible for organizing and managing all library services, establishing
goals and procedures in accordance with state standards to effectively meet
community needs,  and the supervising and training of personnel and
volunteers.  The ability to report to and work with the Town Manager and
Board of Trustees to establish policies and budgets is essential. A
bachelor’s degree in library science or a related filed is preferred,
experience may be substituted for education. Experience in grant writing,
computer technology, or prior library work will be considered. Public
relations ability, tact, confidentiality, and diplomacy are necessary
attributes.
