MOOSE (Maine Organization of Storytelling Enthusiasts) presents Don Spear in A Return to Vaudeville
Native Mainer Don Spear brings a wicked funny sense of humor to his stories, recitations and songs. A retired lawyer, he has a deep appreciation for the absurdities of the human condition. He also knows a thing or two about vaudeville. Put them together and you've got the makings for a highly entertaining evening.
Don received his legal education at Georgetown University Law School in Washington DC. After retiring, he took to the stage and Maine storytelling. His fondness for vaudeville and his large collection of old-time songs and recitations have led to performances at UMF in Farmington, the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston, the Piscataquis Hot Air Balloon Festival in Dover-Foxcroft, and the UNE campus in Portland. He's been charming audiences at MOOSE ever since he walked in the door.
