UPDATE ON THE SURVEY.
We recognize there were “blips” with the survey, which made it hard for
some to complete. These have been resolved!
PLEASE FILL OUT THE SURVEY IF YOU HAVE NOT. THIS WILL BENEFIT ALL OF
*This survey is for Maine archivists and special collections librarians who
provide online access to their finding aids to gather data toward creating
a Maine Union Manuscript Catalog.*
Can Maine build such a system which will cater to the different resources
of repositories at historical societies, public libraries, academic
institutions, and government agencies? A Maine union manuscript catalog
would benefit both users and repositories. The very fact that 23 states
have created shared systems proves their value.
THANK YOU to the 35 respondents. We would like to get at least 50. Please
take 5 minutes to fill out the survey form below.
The survey will close on midnight Feb. 28.
