MASL would like to invite you to this exciting opportunity for librarians
and educators. Lawrence Alexander is renowned for his dynamic speaking
style. His presentation will focus on identifying personal biases and
providing strategies and support for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in
your library.

This special event can be experienced virtually in the comfort of your own
home or with a group in one of these locations around the state:
Bangor High School
Stewart Learning Center, Lincoln
Kennebunk High School
Lewiston High School
Oxford Hills Middle School, South Paris
Skillin Elementary School, South Portland

After the virtual presentation, in-person groups will engage in facilitated
discussions and activities about how best to put his ideas into practice.

To sign up, please visit MASL's Event Page (
https://maslibraries.org/event-4956969)

This opportunity is made possible through the generous support of Educate
Maine, Maine Council for English Language Arts, and the Maine Teachers of
the Year Association.
