Hi All, Any Maine library workers are invited to register for this Friday's 9 am-3:30 pm in-depth training on how to support stress and trauma-affected patrons, staff, and ourselves (so basically all of us). Margaret Norbert, LCSW from Sweetser will take us through the Psychological First Aid training https://www.sweetser.org/training-institute-course/125-psychological-first-aid/ . This program is especially helpful to library workers who provide frontline customer service, manage staff, and communicate with boards and municipal officials (again, all of us).

Margaret is so insightful and sensitive to how difficult it has been for  library staff throughout the pandemic and recent sociopolitical challenges. You won't be disappointed. Hope to see you there.
