Hello all, The next round of New Century Grant applications has begun.   A
print copy of the new application has been mailed to all public libraries.
It is also posted on the Maine State Library web page at www.state.me.us/msl

Any public library may submit a new century grant application.  School,
academic and special libraries may be partners in a public library
application.  The new applications are due on Oct. 16, 2002.  Matching or
in-kind funds are mandatory.

A brief guide for filling out the applications is now in draft form and
being reviewed.  It should be posted next week.  The evaluation form will
follow shortly thereafter.  Again, both of these documents will be mailed to
public libraries as well as posted on the MSL web page.    Best wishes,
