Your ideas and opinions are needed!

How should Maine Info Net evolve and grow?  What project priorities
should be set for the coming years and by whom?  Where should the
online database effort go in the future?  Do we have the optimal
organizational structure for expanding and fully utilizing online
requesting and lending?  For making the most of MINERVA?

These and many other questions that bear on the future of your
library will likely be addressed in a new strategic plan for Maine
Info Net.  Your first opportunity contribute to creating that plan is
a quick and easy web survey, which will help guide early discussions
within the strategic planning group.  Please take a few minutes
before Monday, January 20, to offer your evaluation of current Maine
Info Net services.  We prefer one response per library, rather than
one from each staff member.

This undertaking of the Maine Library Commission and the Maine State
Library will most intensively involve the members of the Maine Info
Net Committee and a number of additional library professionals
representative of the Maine Library Community -- about 20 people in
all.  The entire undertaking is being facilitated by NELINET.
