Hello All, On behalf of the Maine State Library, I am happy to announce we are now accepting online applications for Remote Work through Libraries Small Project Grants https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/ARPA.shtml until Wednesday, May 31, at 5 PM. The small project grants are for $5000 to $25,000 and can be used for library space renovations, programming, resources, and virtual services to support remote and hybrid workers, independent contractors, and home-based entrepreneurs in your service area. Preference will be given to libraries targeting vulnerable and marginalized populations such as:

*        Racial/Cultural minorities
*        Persons with disabilities
*        Persons living in poverty
*        The unhoused
*        Formerly incarcerated
*        LGBTQ+ individuals
*        Older adults
*        Military veterans

To begin your application, go to https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=MSL and log in to your library's account. At the top of the Applicant Dashboard page, click on "Apply." Then, click the blue APPLY button for the Remote Work through Libraries Small Project Grant 2023.

If your library does not have an account yet in the system or if your org needs to set up a new user to work on the application, please do not set up a new account. Contact me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and I will set up those things for you. Please let me know if you need any assistance as you use the grant system.

MSL will be setting up Zoom drop-in sessions to field questions and help you develop strong applications. Stay tuned for those dates/times coming soon.

Regards, Deb
