Hi All, MRLS Region 1 is opening up its annual meeting to library staff from all Maine library regions. We'll meet at Curtis ML in Brunswick on September 20. In the morning, we'll discuss the importance of family engagement in children's academic success along with ways for libraries to support and program for families. In the afternoon, we'll hear from several library personnel who have been very involved in community efforts to develop programming for seniors to support aging well in place.
