Hello All, I'm excited to announce a new round of Maine Public Library Fund (MPLF) grants this Fall. Because of Maine's bicentennial anniversary happening next year, preference will be given to bicentennial programs and projects during this grant cycle. However, other types of programs will still be considered for funding.

Go to https://form.jotform.com/deborahclark/mainepubliclibraryfund to submit an application.

MSL is offering program grants of $500- $5000. Details on what types of programs (along with Bicentennial events) are eligible for these grants may be found at https://www1.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/MPLF.shtml . While you are there, check out all the great programs these grants have funded in the past few years.

Continuing education grants may no longer be requested through the MPLF application process. Instead, library personnel needing financial assistance for professional development purposes like conferences and workshops should use this MSL form https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/ce/stipends.htm.

MPLF grant applications will be accepted via the online form until 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019.

Please direct questions about MPLF grant applications to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> .

***Thanks to all of you promoting the Maine Income Tax Check-off campaign (which funds the MPLF awards), we will be able to provide over $20,000 for public library program and WIFI grants this Fall. Please continue to publicize the benefits of this initiative to strengthen library services for Maine citizens. Deb
