Hello All, This is a reminder that the SCOOP contract discounts are no longer in effect. Libraries, school districts, and municipalities that want to participate in a discount purchasing program may apply for MHEC membership at https://www.mhec.net/mhec-membership-application/  . The SCOOP webpage at https://www.maine.gov/msl/mrls/services/scoop.htm will remain active as a way to connect Maine libraries to the MHEC contracts, training webinars, and FAQs.

MHEC has negotiated some contracts around the library-specific categories of:

  *   Books and Media (Contract L51)
  *   Supplies, Archival Products & Service (Contract L50)
  *   Subscription Services (L52)
  *   Equipment, Software & Service (L53)

Of course, you may use any of the MHEC contracts for ordering, not just the library-specific ones.

MHEC is currently inviting suppliers to bid on a new contract for Library Digital Technologies (L54). I'm very excited to see which vendors we can get into a discount contract for various databases and electronic resources.
