Hello All,

Got an idea for a new library program but need a little money to get it started? Want to expand a service to a new target audience? Attend MLA or an out-of-state workshop to learn about other librarians' innovative ideas and best practices?  The Maine State Library can help.  We are offering another round of MPLF grants with the monies collected from the Maine Public Library Fund (income tax check-off). We are now accepting applications for grants starting at $500 for small test pilot projects and professional development opportunities up to a $5000 award for a more involved library service project. The deadline to submit applications for our spring 2017 grants is March 15.
