Following the first round of New Century Grant applications, many library
directors asked if we would send the reviewers' evaluation form out with the
grant applications in the future.  On Nov. 20 every public library received
a New Century Grant application form for 2001 and a Fact Sheet.  The letter
accompanying that material said that the evaluation form to be used by this
years' reviewers would be sent out as soon as completed.

Last Thursday the evaluation forms were sent to each public library by First
Class mail.  If you are not applying for a New Century Grant this year, you
may just want to file this for future study.  If you are applying for a
grant, you now know what kind of responses the reviewers will be looking for
in your application and how many points each section is worth.  Hope this is
