Hi All, Open enrollment for ACA (Affordable Care Act) health insurance coverage runs from November 1 to December 15. Many residents will once again turn to library staff for assistance. The PLA (Public Library Association) has created a brief guide for library workers on ACA enrollment http://www.ala.org/pla/sites/ala.org.pla/files/content/initiatives/openenrollment/190719_PLA-LCC-booklet_5x7_web.pdf .

The booklet contains info such as definition of terms, services covered by the ACA, how to advocate for patrons with special needs, and program action planning. Page 16 has a list of helpful resources.
