Hello All, I have a few slots left for the PLA "Advancing Family Engagement" course this Fall. You can see the details at http://www.ala.org/pla/education/onlinelearning/feseries . The course will run from Sept. 14 through March 22 (nine 1-hour sessions) with a few virtual Maine participant gatherings with me in between classes to help support each other's learning and program planning.

The state library will fully subsidize accepted participants from public libraries. This is a $425 value and an important opportunity for your library to better support the educational needs of students through family engagement programs and services. I hope you can join me and other Maine colleagues as we learn together. Please let me know of your desire to participate in the course by Friday, June 18. Deb
