Good day! Please excuse cross-postings:

If you are planning to apply for one of the DECD/ARPA Remote Work Through Libraries grants, there are two informational sessions being held via Zoom next week.

Tuesday, February 28, 2-3 pm ET: https://maine-msl.libcal.com/event/10327446

Wednesday, March 1, 5:30-6:30 pm ET: https://maine-msl.libcal.com/event/10327452

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

  * The calendar says that these sessions are “In-Person,” but they are being held via Zoom, which you will see in the session description.
  * You will need to register for a session in order to get the Zoom link.
  * The sessions will be recorded.
  * If you are planning to apply for a larger capital grant, we are requiring that you register for and attend [or watch the recording after if something comes up] at least one of the sessions. If you are planning to apply for the smaller grant, we are suggesting but not requiring that you attend one of the sessions.
  * Topics covered will be the Letter of Interest and application process, types of requests the Department of Economic and Community Development [DECD] will allow to be funded, and ideas that you might have or need.
  * You do not need to attend both sessions but are certainly welcome to.
  * Trustees and other potential community members are welcome to attend. They will also need to register unless they are sitting right beside you and sharing a computer at the meeting time.

Please do let me and/or Deb Clark know if you have any questions or concerns. Deb and I will be hosting Open Office Hours in March for anyone with questions after the sessions to drop in. We will post those times on the listservs and calendars once they are set.

Respectfully,
Lisa
