Much interest has been expressed in both of these training sessions but no
one has offered lab space (or computer space). Even if you just have 3-4 on
line computers so that 3-4 users could gather around each one, I think that
would be better than forfeiting this opportunity. Can anyone in Presque
Isle or Calais offer a training site on the date and times given below?
Many thanks. :-) Linda

Subject: EBSCO TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR CALAIS AND PRES QUE

I've just received news that an EBSCO rep. will be in Washington and
Aroostook Counties and can do training sessions while she is in the area at
the following times: (Weds. Oct. 2nd at 2:30 in Calais; and Thurs. Oct. 3rd
at noon in Presque Isle)
All that is needed is a computer lab and 12 attendees.
I am feeling increasing concern as I read about overjoyed 7th grade students
who feel their laptops will/are/can taking the place of all other
information resources. This might be a particularly good time to attempt to
reach middle school teachers?
