Hi All, Just wanted to share the good news with everyone-in FY 2018-'19, our first year of participation in MHEC (Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium), 203 Maine public libraries and schools spent $4,205,093.11 and saved $1,632,826.83, an average savings of 39%.
Hope this helps you make your budget case to funders. Purchasing in a way that saves 39% demonstrates value and fiscal accountability to the taxpayers and donors who support your library or school.
Not an MHEC member yet? It's free and easy to join at https://www.mhec.net/mhec-libraries/ . If you have any difficulty with the application or login ID set-up, contact Mike Girardi at 413-992-2520 & [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or Kate Moskos at 413-992-2503 & [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> . They are great to work with. Deb
