Hi All, If you have never been to the NELA (New England Library Association) Conference, check out the scholarship application for first-time attendees http://conference2019.nelib.org/2019-scholarship-application/ . NELA usually gives out a full conference (minus travel costs) scholarship to someone from each of the New England states. You must be a NELA member to be eligible but the dues is very reasonable and gets you a discount for the annual conference https://ams.nelib.org/joinrenew .
I enjoy attending this conference because it's driving distance away and they bring in national-level speakers and library workers to inspire and share practical ideas to enrich and improve our work.
Remember, MSL also offers stipends https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/ce/stipends.htm to professional development events so your travel could be covered too. Give it a try!
