During the fall of 2022, at the town of Pittsfield's very first budget meeting, a proposal to cut the public library's Saturday hours and reduce support staffing by 20% was introduced. Director Holly Williams was able to rally her community to support the library, and in doing so changed the budget cut into an increase. Join us in this online-only event as Holly leads a conversation about her library's victory during a trying time in her community. There will be time for the audience's questions after the conversation.
